All our water remain open to members of BADAC. Anglers should only travel a reasonable distance and should remain local to their residency. Please consult the Government website for ongoing guidelines.

Welcome to BADAC
Welcome to Bishop Auckland and District Angling Club ( BADAC ), one of the best angling clubs in the North East of England.
Established in 1936 Bishop Auckland District Angling Club offers members over 17 miles of excellent game fishing for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling on the River Wear with over 45 named pools.
Annual Membership is currently available for just £160 per year for Adults (For anyone joining after 1st March 2024 the fee will be £190) and it’s free for Juniors (under 18 yrs) (see application form for conditions).
Club members have access to fish on 17 miles of water on the River Wear.
New members can expect a friendly reception plus help and advice from existing members many of whom are extremely knowledgeable and experienced anglers. Visitors are also welcome to fish BADAC waters on a day ticket.
